A slow pan across a vibrant and colorful neighborhood, similar to the miniature houses in Mr. Rogers' show, but instead of regular houses, the miniatures are distinct Dr. Marten’s boots in a bunch of different styles.

Cut to Dr. Marten walking into his house. It’s a cozy and eclectic space with mismatched furniture, vibrant art, and curious trinkets. He’s wearing a cardigan, but he still kinda has that 60’s skinhead vibe.

Dr. Marten removes his docs at the door and puts them on a shoe rack by the door that is loaded with docs. He slips on some clean boots that are the exact same as what he was wearing but now with faux shearling.

Dr Marten: “Hello neighbor. You know I like my docs, but would you like to know why? They remind me that we can be strong and gentle at the same time. That’s a wonderful balance, don’t you think? Here, let me show you.”

Dr. Marten stands and beckons the audience/neighbor/camera to follow him. He points to various photos of past doc ads, like the typical doc marten “rebellious spirit” thing, edgy punks, smashing guitars, etc.

Dr. Marten: “Wearing Doc Martens doesn't mean we have to smash guitars unless that is what you want, but I prefer to play mine now.”

He is handed a guitar from someone off-screen. He plays for a moment, badly, but happily.

Dr. Marten: “We can rock our boots with kindness and respect, showing that rebellion can be peaceful. But you can of course always be vocal about things that are important. Like fighting fascism.”

Cut to the Doc neighborhood and someone smashing a guitar chasing out a MAGA hat person, or something clearly fascist leaning.

Dr. Marten goes back to his cozy couch.

Dr. Marten: “But these are special to me because they have a way of bringing people together. They're like little beacons of love and acceptance on our feet.”

Abrupt cut back to the neighborhood scene, and mock closing credits.

(off screen, sounding surprised)

Dr Marten: “Oh, Bye! Remember! Beacons of love! on your feet!”
